What clothes should I wear when working at a hospital? STUDENT INTERN VOLUNTEER?

i think you should dress serious yet casual. honestly, in a hospital whether you are student intern volunteer or just a nurse you have to dress in a professional manner because you are in a professional setting. you should wear like a nice blouse with maybe some light weight slacks or khaki pants. im not sure if you will be wearing any type of hospital clothes like a white jacket but wear something that in case you have to put something on top of it you wont be too warm. You should not wear heels because you may standing alot one day and the next day you may be walking around alot. Most people in hospitals are always on their feet so wear some comfortable but cute flats. Also, dont wear too much jewelry because it is uneccessary. Keep in mind, the less stuff you can get in contact with patients and hazards, the better for you and the patient. Dont wear open toe shoes and try to avoid shorts and short skirts because as i said before you are in a hospital so you have to dress appropriately. I hope that helps!
