What type of yeast is best to make a beverage with high alcohol content?

I don't have a still, so I want to know which type of yeast is best to get the highest alcohol content out of my fermented mix. I'm currently using bread yeast because I'm not sure if wine yeast or champagne yeast is the better choice.
